Why Use a Lightweight Natural Stone System?
Our panel system offers significant cost savings by reducing the structural back up requirements, equipment needed for erecting, number of trucks required for shipping, labor costs while increasing speed of installation and time-to-market
Because we yield two panels per slab, we use 50% less raw material needed for the project. This not only saves on quarried stone, but reduces carbon emissions for receiving raw materials and delivering finish goods to jobsite.
Why Use a Porcelain or Engineered Quartz?
Thin Porcelain Tile, coined (TPT), is characterized by its minimal thickness of anywhere between 3 to 6 mm and larger dimensions of up to 5 x 10 feet in length and width. These large format (TPT) sheets can be difficult to handle without breaking. FINA adds structural integrity to the thin material by bonding our aluminum honeycomb panel to the backside of the (TPT) increasing flexural strength and impact resistant. These panels intergraded with our mechanically fastening system can be used for exterior and interior wall cladding projects.
Engineered quartz products, where nature and science meet. The new engineered quartz material is actually created through a manufacturing process that mixes about 95 percent ground natural quartz with 5 percent polymer resins. Quartz is the hardest non-precious stone in the world. In most cases, engineered quartz are offered in stock material thicknesses of 7/8” to 1 1/8”. FINA processes engineered quartz slabs similar to processing our lightweight natural stone panel. Our quartz panels are ideal for interior cladding projects and in some cases, can be used for exterior cladding.
