FINA Stoneworks' stone panels are a lightweight natural stone veneer system that offer the beauty of natural stone without the weight or brittle properties people expect with thick, heavy slabs. With a 2 cm [3/4”] thick stone slab, we can produce two lightweight stone panels. Our unique process reduces the number of slabs required for each project nearly in half, saving natural resources as well as reducing carbon emissions.

Our stone panels weigh only 3.5 pounds per square foot, approximately 80% less than the weight of a 1” thick dimensional stone slab. These lightweight stone panels can reduce the structural backup requirements, shipping, installation equipment, and labor costs. What's more, the honeycomb backer provides superior impact resistance and flexural strength.

The selection of stone finishes depends on the application as well as the stone type. Generally, the stones and finishes listed below can be applied. However, not all finishes are suitable for exterior applications.

FINA Stoneworks' panels are engineered for use on building exteriors, interiors, elevator cabs, column covers, ceilings, storefronts, bathroom surrounds, and for custom applications such as conference tables, cruise ship interiors, and more.
